Northern Spirit Radio’s program, Song of the Soul, is a really wonderful series of interviews with musicians all across the country including many of my friends and favorite songwriters. In December of 2018 I had the pleasure of being interviewed for the program by its founder, Mark Helpsmeet. They describe the program this way, “Music has the ability to proclaim the soul’s language beyond what mere words can speak. That’s what we seek as we invite our guests to share…Song of the Soul guests provide 20-23 minutes of the music of their soul, and Mark Helpsmeet explores with them the relevance and meaning of this music to their experience.” Mark titled our interview “A Single Bright Lamp.”
